SHOULD I CHECK MY BAG?

The answer is YES.. or whenever you can. Many Airlines now and days charge for checked luggage and I totally understand why you wouldn't want to check your bags. Also there are other Airlines who won't charge you for not only your first bag, but the second as well. Airline credit cards may also help checking your luggage for free. Why stress yourself with big and heavy luggage inside the airplane.Almost all Airlines will ask for volunteers to check their bags at the gate. This is the perfect opportunity to do so. Especially those of you who have to pick up other bags as well. Passengers traveling with kids also should check their luggage. I see people even day with so many bags and at the same time with kids, strollers, etc. Why would you do that to yourself. Do not expect the crew to lift your bags, especially if the bags are heavy. Not only they are not permitted to do so, but also it is not fair to them. You brought it all the way from home, you suddenly can't lift your own bag? CHECK IT.
