Are you a germ freak? I have really bad news for you. There are germs everywhere inside that metal tube. I actually have this passenger asked me once if the tray tables are cleaned every day. Some Airlines will clean those tray tables after the last flight, others won't. Almost all airlines won't clean tray tables between flights, especially domestically. There is no time. Reality is Airlines will try to get that airplane up and flying as soon as they can. This is why it's

ree

so important to clean after ourselves so the person seating in the same seat won't find our mess (we should not leave a mess in the first place). Imagine how many people touch those TV controls or screens every day. You can buy sanitizing pads everywhere now, including your local pharmacy. If you are bringing a liquid sanitizer always remember the 3.4oz limit at checkpoint.
